Tribo de Jah – 40 Anos de Reggae | Turnê, Shows e Reggae Roots

reggae / roots reggae / reggae pop

Jah Tribe – 40 Years celebrates the trajectory of one of the pioneer bands of the Brazilian reggae. Born in São Luís (MA), the group led by Fauzi Beydoun turned reggae roots into an expression of peace, resistance, inclusion and social awareness. With 19 albums, more than 2 million physical copies sold and performances in more than 50 countries, the band gained international recognition. With a story marked by the talent of visually impaired musicians, it was the only Brazilian band in Reggae Sunsplash, Jamaica, and the first reggae band in Rock in Rio. In the commemorative show, successes such as "A Wave That Passed", "Regueiros Guerreiros", "Ruins of Babylon", "Morena Root" and "Babylon in Flames" connect generations into a vibrant experience, with Jamaican rhythms and Marian identity. In 2026, the Jah Tribe announced "Carimbó-Reggae", Fauzi Beydoun's encounter with Pinduca, and the album One by One, scheduled for 2027. An attraction of strong cultural value for Sesc, theaters, festivals and events that celebrate Brazilian music.
