Miltinho Edilberto & Rastapé
Miltinho Edilberto invites Rastapé for a meeting between the redneck viola, the sanfona and the force of the Brazilian forró. The proposal unites the creativity of the guitar player, singer and composer Miltinho to the energy of Rastapé, a family band that, since 1999, brings the forró serra foot closer to new generations with successes such as "Polo de Girl", "Dating" and "Kiss Stolen". This connection comes from afar: in 2000, both integrated the programming of the 3rd Great Meeting of the University Forró, in Via Funchal, in São Paulo. In 2026, Miltinho performed "Forró de Viola" at Sesc Sorocaba and released "Neon and Lampião". Rastapé took "Back to Origins" to Sesc Interlagos, participated in the Winter Sesc Festival and circulated throughout the United States, as well as presenting the new version of "Good Feeling". Among xotes, bays, foot drags, copyright songs and references to masters such as Luiz Gonzaga and Dominguinhos, the project celebrates affective memory, tradition and reinvention. A dancing and affective experience for Sesc, theaters, popular parties, festivals and cultural circuits.
