Ó Do Forró
About O Do Forró
Ó do Forró is a São Paulo trio that transforms the northeastern heritage into a celebration of music, dance and cultural identity. Graduated in 2009 at Capão Round by Adan Oliveira, Álvaro Oliveira and Sivaldo Fernando, the group combines sanfona, zabumba and triangle with copyright compositions and urban influences, without losing the essence of forró pé de serra.
Throughout his career, he opened presentations by Dominguinhos, Elba Ramalho and Trio Nordestino, participated in Virada Cultural and circulated throughout Europe. Its discography includes "The Sound That Shakes the Heart" (2013), "The Origin, the Agora and the Future" (2016) and a live record at Showfree Studio (2017).
In 2026, there was "Forró from North to South" announced in Sesc Belenzinho, integrated the programming of the Festival Matrizes in Itaúnas, and released the singles "Awesome of the Sertão" and "Last Gesto". The first revisits the memories of the northeastern migration to São Paulo.
Among shotes, bays and foot drags, Ó do Forró creates a vibrant and affective spectacle, ideal for Sesc, theatres, popular parties, festivals and cultural circuits.
